Most of you already know that good nutrition is the secret to good health, weight loss and the ability to think clearly.  But what most people don’t think about is what we put into our minds makes a huge difference in how we think, act and perform in our everyday life. As with eating, a steady diet of negativity, pessimism or stinking thinking will lead to a life of nothing but bad thoughts and negative behavior.  Your thinking determines your actions, and your actions create your habits.  Your habits create your destiny.  Create good positive habits; it will lead to a good life.  The way to do this is to keep good stuff coming into your mind: the books you read, the people you associate with, the things you listen to like motivational CD’s/MP3’s.  What was the last book you read or CD you listened to?  What was the last conversation you had, was it positive and life affirming, or was it negative? Jim Rohn said it this way: “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” I have also heard it this way: “If you read like a bum you’ll be a bum, read like champ you’ll be a champ”.  Try it out for a month.  Read “the Magic of thinking Big”, “Think and Grow Rich”, “As a Man Thinketh”, or even listen to them on audio. Monitor your conversations, if they are not positive try to change the tone or excuse yourself and flush your brain out.  Go to the library and find some good positive audio books or at least some uplifting movies like “The Secret”, ”Rocky”, "Rudy” or “Invincible”.  Spend 30 days filling your mind with good stuff, remember GIGO: Garbage in Garbage out or Good in Good out.
